Did the future of health care just skip the whole future part? Forward's CarePods may being doing just that. With a late round of financing of $100 million dollars this month that is designated for manufacturing and the actual deployment of the CarePods, the AI doctor office experience may be coming to your town sooner than you think. Let's take a look inside the CarePod.
The care is centralized around their CarePod which plan to be located sporadically throughout various cities throughout the United States by the end of 2024. It is essentially a private room loaded with sensors, touch screens, and displays for various analysis of your body in the privacy of just you and the AI interfaces.
Based off the internal screens, the apps within the CarePod are extensive. Time will tell if these are the apps that will be shipped in the initial pods, or whether or not these will be added in time. In the future, and with leveraging AI, one could imagine the different types of health applications for testing that will be created.
The system will curate specific applications based off of your information, and provide you with specific recommendations for preventative care analysis.
The system will leverage blood tests, body analysis, scanning, and special sensors to perform various analysis of all types.
The data received will be integrated into a smart phone application as well, allowing for home analysis and the ability to leverage your cell phone's sensors for other analysis on demand.
This is what the not so distant future has in store for us. The results of course are yet to be known on how these advanced health systems will benefit humanity as a whole, but one thing we know for sure, this is just a start. Will something such as CarePods quite simply be a staple of one's own home some time? Only the future knows. Forward seems to be one step ahead of of this Journey.
